Leadership

I believe that our union’s strength comes from one source:  The Members. 

It is my philosophy that true leadership means listening to those that you represent and fighting for the interests of the entire organization. Your voice matters! It does not matter if this is your first day on property as a United Airlines High Winger or you just completed your final flight. I will diligently work to represent your needs, rights, and safety.

I am not here to make empty promises; I am here to represent you with unwavering dedication and to ensure that we, as a pilot group, continue to move forward as a unified force. We do that through a common voice and through active leadership. 

Safety

The safety of our pilots in non-negotiable. I will not allow our priority of safety be compromised for growth, individual gain, or any other agenda. As your representative, I will work with the Central Air Safety Committee to ensure that we have the resources, oversight and support needed to uphold the highest standards across our industry. 

We will not compromise the safety of United pilots ever! This begins from Day 1 of indoctrination training and continues until our final flights. I will fight to ensure that our ALPA pilots remain as the leaders in any discussion involving aircraft safety, standard operating procedures, or the safety of our pilots. We will uphold the standard at all times. 

Accountability

This election comes at a critical junction for our pilot group. With key sections of the UPA now in effect, it is essential that we hold the company fully accountable for the contract that we have fought for. Our rights and protections found under the UPA must be upheld for every pilot on property in both letter and spirit. No pilot should be left behind or attacked by United management without representation and the upholding of the contract to its fullest extent. We will not settle for anything less than what we deserve. We have fought for the protections and growth found within the UPA. I will work with LEC and MEC Grievance committees to ensure that our work is not upheld. 

Our work is not complete however. Now is the time that we must start laying the foundation for the future. We must develop a comprehensive strategic plan that ensures the rights and protections of every pilot. The work and development of UPA 27 begins now. I will listen to the greater pilot group and fight to ensure that unified voice of our pilot group is heard. I believe we must continue to fight for the benefits of our UPA for every pilot regardless of status. I will be your unified voice to the MEC to ensure this happens.
